I've never thought of the metal roofing in calgary to be really cute or to have it on your house that you live in! I always think of metal roofing for barns or work buildings, but this is really cute! Plus I bet metal roofing lasts a lot longer and is more durable!
This is actually a really pretty house. I haven't seen a lot of people doing metal roof installation in Aurora CO where I live, so I haven't seen a lot of this. But I really like it. We are thinking of building a house, and I think we will seriously consider putting a metal roof on it. Are there any drawbacks to getting a metal roof? Thanks.
I agree, you should seriously consider putting a metal roof on your home! The only drawback, and I don't really believe it is one, is the cost is typically higher than some of the more common roofing materials. It is an investment in your home, and you will never have to replace the roof!

I'm seeing more metal roofs around town and I'm really enjoying them. They add so much character to the house and the colors are great (just like in this example, so bright!) I'm not a huge fan of the green steel roofing but I do like the concept of steel roofing in general. I think this is definitely an option for when we need to re-do the roof on our home. Thanks for sharing.

Steel roofing systems are the way to go. They are durable and cost effective.
